To The Local Councillor
Michelle Byrne,
As a long time resident of Kenthurst, I strongly oppose the development of a cemetery for the following reasons:
*The increase in traffic will cause major congestion on Annangrove Road .
* Increase in traffic will endanger the students attending this school.
*Parking will become a major problem - again putting students and parents at risk.
*A cemetery should NOT be built in the middle of a neighbourhood - next door to private homes!
*The value of our homes would decrease. No one would want to live next to a cemetery!
* This development has not been discussed with the community. Decisions affecting our community should be discussed.

To M Fatouros,

Thank you for your email, the below is provided for your info:
A Conciliation Conference was arranged for the above matter for 3 November
2016. We sent a letter to residents on 19 October 2016 regarding the
Conciliation Conference following the applicant confirming their
availability for that date.
The applicant has now requested that the Conciliation Conference meeting
be postponed to explore opportunities which may result in a revised
development, potentially without a cemetery.
