Planning application at 8 Heywood Avenue, Unley Park SA 5061

My concern is about the removal of the River red gum. This existed at this spot long before the first house was built on this block. It provides much to the character of the area and its desirability and value. Removing this tree will be a net detriment to the fauna that live in this area and to the value of the neighbourhood.
If this tree goes, it is hard to mount an argument to retain any of the significant trees in this suburb.
